Provides a comprehensive listing of public bills currently pending in the U.S. House and Senate. The file
provides statistical odds for a bill's success in Committee and on the House or Senate floor. The statistical
model which projects odds for bills has had a ninety-four percent accuracy rate for Congressional sessions
since 1977. Information for each bill includes its number, title, date of introduction, sponsor and odds of success
in both committee and on the floor. This file is useful for finding current legislation on a particular topic, e.g.,
veterans, agriculture, transportation, public works, toxic wastes, etc; identifying key legislation affecting strategic
plans, marketing objectives, mergers and acquisition goals or other corporate decisions; and identifying bills
currently sponsored by a particular senator or congressman. In addition, bills may be located which are
sponsored by a particular committee.
